At The Lighthouse we understand the importance of good quality Independent Careers Advice and Guidance. We have a stable careers programme that addresses the individual needs of our pupils, linking the curriculum to careers and providing encounters with employers and experience of  workplaces. We use a range of tools, including Compass from the Careers and Enterprise company, which helps us benchmark, manage, track and report on our Careers Programme. 

Additionally, The Lighthouse works closely with Beacon East, an experienced team of highly trained and passionate specialists, who provided 1:1 bespoke personal ICAG to our young people. Their understanding of the specific needs of our students alongside their comprehensive knowledge of local provision ensures that our young people leave The Lighthouse ready to take on the challenges of further education, training or employment.
